Face ID security is powered by multiple neural networks and powered by the Apple A11 Bionic neural engine. Face ID adapts to your face over time and the chance of unlocking from a random person is about 1 in a million compared to Touch ID which is about 1 in 50,000.
Face ID also works with Apple Pay, third party apps that support Touch ID will also support Face ID. Face data is protected by a “secure enclave” on the chip explained Schiller.
