As well as announcing the imminent availability of their new 8K displays LG have also announced the launch of a new 27″ inch gaming monitor in the form of the LG UltraGear monitor offering a refresh rate range of 30 – 160Hz, 2560 x 1440 (WQHD), Nano IPS, G-Sync, VESA mount and more.
The LG 27GL850G gaming monitor offers users a 1000:1 static contrast ratio, 178 degree horizontal and vertical viewing angles, and a flicker-free enhanced phosphor backlight round out the specs.It’s expected that the 27GL850G, via its Nano IPS tech, covers ~98% DCI-P3 (~135%) colour space. LG has also added red LED lighting on the rear of the monitor.
